Founder and Principal Consultant for SCMi Group LLP, Max is based in Singapore. He holds a postgraduate in Masters of Science in Logistics. Max serves as a Course Convener and sits in the Training and Development Committee in Singapore Logistics Association and in the Board of Director for ASEAN-China Chamber of Commerce. Serving as an associate faculty lecturer in Singapore University of Social Sciences, he was awarded the Teaching Merit Prize in 2014.  His career began in Agility Logistics and developed logistics solutions for Multi-National Corporations. He also led the operations planning and execution in major international events such as the Athens and Beijing Olympics Games. He now consults for Asian Development Bank in transport and trade facilitation, and is particularly active in CAREC projects. He leads the Corridor Performance Measurement and Monitoring (CPMM) exercise and the Coordinated Border Management (CBM) projects. Max also consults for USAID and advises South Asian nations on TIR implementation, as well as developing air export strategy to overcome the land-locked and border crossing impediments in Central and South Asia.

Max spoke at CATF 2016 on transit corridors and is currently participating in the Competitiveness, Trade and Jobs project in Central Asia, with a focus on horticulture supply chain.
