Roman has graduated from Moscow Agricultural Engineering Institute in 1983. After graduation, he worked for 2 years as an engineer-technologist at Gulistan Mechanical Plant. After that he worked as a deputy secretary of Guliston city committee of Comsomol. Since 1988 he has worked in various commercial export-oriented organizations.
