Zavkizoda Zavki Amin was born in 1972 in Khamadoni district of the Republic of Tajikistan. In 1995 he graduated cum laude the Tajik State University with a specialization in Accounting, Audit and Analysis of Economic Activities. In 2001 he took Master's Degree in Economic Development with Australian National University, in 2006 he took Doctor’s Degree in Economics with the above University.
Zavkizoda Zavki Amin has wide experience in the field of economy and banking management. He began his professional activity in 1995 in the National Bank of Tajikistan; up to 2003 he worked as Economist of the 1st category of the Department of Economic Analysis and Forecasting, Chief Economist of the Crediting Department and Head of the Crediting Department of the Administration of Monetary Policy Implementation. In 2003 – 2006 he took a doctorate course of the Australian National University and in 2004-2005 he worked simultaneously as a teacher of financial and economic subjects in English for the University. From 2006 he worked as a Deputy Head of the Department of Open Market Operation of the National Bank of Tajikistan. In 2007 Zavkizoda Zavki Amin was appointed as an Advisor of the Executive Director of the group of the World Bank and Advisor of the Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund and at the same time he performed functions of the Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan in the specified organizations. From 2011 to 2014 he worked as a Head of the Secretariat of the Advisory Board under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan for investment climate improvement. In 2014 he was appointed by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan to a position of Senior Advisor of the Administration of the Assistant to President of the Republic of Tajikistan on Economic Issues. Zavkizoda Zavki Amin speaks Russian and English fluently.
